Hey everyone!
So as I mentioned a few posts back, I haven’t been as active as I would like to be on my blog due to University, so I decided to do the 30 Day Anime Challenge! This way I can post more frequently and it can serve as almost a “filler” between normal posts 🙂 
So, the first anime I ever watched huh? Well, it would definitely be between Pokemon and Sailor Moon, because they both aired in ’98 through the 2000’s (and well, Pokemon just never stops airing). Pokemon pretty much ran all day on Cartoon Network, but I think Sailor Moon was mainly on Toonami. So, I’m not sure which one of these came first, but I do know that I spent my childhood looking for Pokemon and trying to get the one-legged Sailor transformation spin down (I always fell flat on my face).
I will say, though, that Naruto was the first anime I watched that I knew was anime, before that I just thought everything was just another show on TV, and between my time of Pokemon and Naruto, I watched tons of anime on toonami without knowing it. I remember my cousin introducing it to me when I was in third grade and he was like, “I know how much you like Dragon Ball Z, so I figured you would like this.” I was so confused when I heard Japanese and I was like, “I’m supposed to read my TV show??” I can fully contribute my fast reading ability to Naruto subs xD
